New York, here I come!

Una settimana mi separa dalla Grande Mela.

La metropoli che tutti desiderano di visitare almeno una volta nella vita, quella dove tutto sembra possibile, la città che non dorme mai, quella che abbiamo sognato guardando stagioni di Gossip Girl, quella che fa da sfondo a capolavori come Colazione da Tiffany.

Passerò 15 giorni all'insegna del relax, dello shopping e del divertimento.

Adesso però, nella mia testa circolano idee su idee, panico su cosa mettere in valigia, confusione sulla differenza tra le taglie italiane e quelle americane, sul cambio euro/dollaro etc.

Insomma, dalle cose più futili a quelle più importanti, l'ansia accompagnata da uno stato di eccitazione è tanta!

Salve a tutti!

Oggi vi vorrei parlare di un fenomeno che sta prendendo sempre più piede,

ovvero lo SHOPPING ONLINE!

Personalmente sono sempre stata contraria all'acquisto di capi o accessori su internet, innanzitutto perchè amo fare shopping, quello vero..girare per negozi al caldo o al gelo, frugare tra gli stand in cerca di qualcosa di cui innamorarmi, provare e riprovare, uscire soddisfatta e sorridenti con le buste in mano..

ma anche perchè sono abbastanza scettica per ciò che riguarda il pagamento online e l'arrivo della merce a casa (..se arriva!).

Negli ultimi tempi però la curiosità mi sta distruggendo.. vedo sempre più accessori addosso a fashion bloggers o in giro comprati via internet su siti come Asos.com , Yoox e altri..

Devo ammetterlo, sono tentata a cliccare sulla famosa scritta "Add to bag" nel "reparto" accessori di Asos. com ...ma prima di compiere il grande passo, necessito di consigli!

Dunque, se qualcuno di voi ha mai fatto acquisti online su tali siti (in particolare Asos) e sarebbe così gentile da consigliarmi ( o meglio, rassicurarmi!) sulle modalità di pagamento, sui rischi che si corrono, su quanto tempo impiega la merce ad arrivare etc. please, lasci un commento :)

Hello everybody!

Today I'd like to talk about something which is becoming everyday more usual,

the ONLINE SHOPPING!

I've always been against buying clothes or accessories on the net, first of all because i love shopping, but the real one.. looking for shops in the hot or in the cold, searching through the stand to find something to become in love with, try and try, going out of the store satisfied and happily full of bags..

but also because I'm kind of skeptical about what concerns the online payment procedure and the arrival of the goods at home (..if it arrives!)

Although in the last period curiosity is killing me.. I use to see more and more fashion bloggers and people in general with accessories bought in online shops like Asos. com, Yoox and so on..

I must admit that I'm on my way to click on the famous "add to bag" in the Asos.com's accessories "department"..but before doing something like that in need advices!

So, if some of you have ever bought something online (expecially Asos) and would be so kind advising me (it's better to say reassuring!) on the online payment ways and risks, on how long I've to wait for the things to arrive and so on, please leave a comment :)

Adoro le righe.

Che siano di qualunque colore o grandezza (anche se ricordiamo sempre che in questo caso micro è meglio di macro!) un capo d'abbigliamento o un accessorio con delle righe attira in ogni caso la mia attenzione!

Sarà che le trovo, soprattutto con il classico alternarsi blu/bianco o bianco/nero, estremamente eleganti ma allo stesso tempo non impegnative.

Sarà che mi sembra diano quel tocco di classicità che fa sempre piacere vedere.

Sarà quel che sarà, ma in ogni caso un classico e semplice maglioncino a righe è un capo a cui difficilmente rinuncerei!

Of any color or size (though we should always remember that in this case micro is better than macro!) an item of clothing or accessory with stripes drawn in eachcase to my attention!

Maybe because, especially with the classic alternating blue / white or white / black, they are very elegant but at the same time, without notice.

Maybe because I think that they give a touch of classicism that is always nice to see.

What will be, but in any case a classic and simple striped sweater is something that I would difficultly give up!

Spero non vi siate allarmati o non abbiate chiamato la CIA visto il mio luungo periodo si sparizione e silenzi!

In ogni caso, per vostra (s)fortuna sono tornata.

Purtroppo cause esterne quali studio, viaggi vari, e niente tempo libero mi hanno impedito di continuare a curare il blog..tanto da aver addirittura pensato di chiuderlo.

Ma poi continuando a seguire quelli di altre ragazze, devo ammettere che mi è mancato il mio piccolo spazio.

Premettendo che io adoro seguire lo stile o la vita delle modelle, delle fashion stylist o di persone apparentemente sconosciute (so che può sembrare un pò strano) ma trovo il loro mondo estremamente affascinante, quando ho letto di questa ragazza ne sono rimasta talmente affascinata da aver appeso la sua foto nel mio "muro del fashion" !

Sto parlando di Julia Restoin- Roitfeld.

Figlia della celebre Carine Roitfeld (ex direttrice di Vogue France) questa ragazza a soli 29 anni possiede una laurea alla Parsons (prestigiosa scuola di arte e design),è stata scelta come interprete della campagna di Lancòme Ultra Lavande Spring 2011 e vive a New York facendo l'art director e la modella.

Assuming that I adore following he style or the life of models, fashion stylists or people apparently do not known (I know it can seem a little strange) but I find in them a very fascinating world, when I read about this girl I was so fascinated by her that i had to put her picture in my "wall of fashion!

Tutto può ispirare, un film, un libro, una frase, una foto.
La verità è che la vita è una continua fonte d'ispirazione.
Forse molto spesso non ce ne accorgiamo, eppure è cosi...dovremmo cercare di aprire gli occhi e cogliere anche quelle cose che crediamo siano insignificanti e futili, anche sul fronte moda!
Quindi OPEN UP YOUR EYES! La vita ci sembrerà migliore :)

The truth is that life is continously inspiring.
Maybe usually we just don't notice that, but that's how it is..we should open our eyes and take also those things that we consider meaningless and futile, also what deals with fashion!

Looklet!

Ieri sera ho provato per la prima volta Looklet.com e... NON L'AVESSI MAI FATTO !

Sapete quando da piccoli, appena ci regalavano qualcosa di nuovo, non facevamo altro che giocarci fino alla nausea?

Ecco, è stato molto peggio.

Ho passato circa un'ora e mezza come imbambolata davanti al pc!

Ma la cosa a mio avviso più assurda è che quel sito è fatto così bene da far sembrare quelle modelle anoressiche a cui qualunque cose tu metta addosso sta bene ( della serie: viva l'autostima! ) vive!

Per non parlare dei vestiti..è stato come fare un salto nel mondo dell'armadio perfetto, un click e hai tutto quello che desideri.

Conlusione?

Ecco cosa sono riuscita a tirar fuori:

Yesterday night I tried for the first time Looklet.com and...I wish I didn't!

Do you remember that when we were young and we received something new, we couldn't stop playing with it?

Well, that has been even worse.

I passed a hour and half like hypnotized in front of the laptop!

But, in my opinion, the craziest thing is that this site is created so well that those skinny models in which anything you put on them looks nice, seem alive!

What about clothes..it has been like a jump to the world of the perfect wardrobe, just a "click" and you'll have everything you want.
